Lighting your artwork correctly involves using a mixture of spotlights and spreads. The appropriate degree of spread will depend on the distance of the lamp from the painting on the wall. While several bulbs can sufficiently illuminate your image, halogen bulbs will do the trick. It is best to seek the advice of an electrician or lighting professional to ensure the proper balance of light and presentation of your art.
